Charles Hall has served on the Georgetown Tau Chapter's board in various positions for the last four years. He is a twelve year naval officer veteran of the United States Navy. Here, he served as a Navy Nurse specializing in cardiac and peri-anesthesia nursing. Liutenant Hall was also deployed on the USNS Comfort within the Casualty Receiving Unit as their Training Officer during the disaster relief for Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Recently, he was the featured Alumni in the Washington State University's Focus on Nursing. Charles has received both his Masters in Nursing as well as his Masters in Business Administration.

Dr. Yearwood is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing at Georgetown University. She is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Nursing with over 25 years of experience in clinical practice and nursing education. She is a member of the International Society of Psychiatric Nurses (ISPN), the American Nurses Association (ANA), the Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS) and Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI). She is the current Vice President of the Tau Chapter. She received her BSN from the University of Connecticut, her MA in Nursing from New York University and her PhD in Nursing from Adelphi University. Her research interests include qualitative methodology, mental health of minority and immigrant children and adolescents, mood disorders, culture and youth empowerment. She serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Nursing and is a manuscript reviewer for four other journals. She has published in Archives of Psychiatric Nursing, Journal of Family Nursing, Journal of Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Nursing, Journal of Pediatric Health Care and the Journal of Transcultural Nursing. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and is on the Fulbright Senior Specialist roster till 2012.

Lauren Wood is the recording secretary of the Georgetown Sigma Chapter. Lauren graduated with a BSN in Nursing from Georgetown in 2008 and is now a graduate student at George Washington University for Nursing Leadership and Management. She also works in the Emergency Department at Georgetown University Hospital and volunteers at the Hoya Clinic at the old DC General, providing free healthcare for DC residents.

Nina is a graduate student in the Masters of Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program at Georgetown University School of Nursing. She is also a labor and delivery nurse at Georgetown University Hospital. Nina has been a member of STTI since 2008 and serves as the correspondence secretary for the Tau chapter.

Susan Coleman is a clinical faculty member at Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies. Her specialty areas are Public Health Nursing and Vulnerable Populations. She received her BSN from the University of Michigan and MPH from The Johns Hopkins University. In addition to clinical teaching, Susan maintains an independent consulting practice. She is Chair-Elect of the Public Health Nursing Section of the American Public Health Association (APHA) in addition to Chair-Elect of the Quad Council of Public Health Nursing Organizations.

Kevin Mallinson, PhD, RN, AACRN, FAAN

Dr. Mallinson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing at Georgetown University. He received his masters and doctoral degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. His areas of scholarship focus on HIV/AIDS, grief and loss, and nursing capacity building in Southern Africa. He is fluent in sign language and has studied the impact of HIV/AIDS in the deaf community. He has served as the President of the HIV/AIDS Nursing Certification Board (HANCB) and as a member of the Board of Nursing for the District of Columbia. Dr. Mallinson has been a member of STTI since 1987 and is currently the Chair of the Research Committee for the Tau Chapter.
